What a fantastic night at our fundraiser A Rather Musical Affair in West Sussex on the 8th December, where we raised an incredible £1350! Thank you so much to everyone involved and who came and supported us for making it such a success.
Despite a number of vulnerable people being relocated to the Greek mainland from the camps on the islands, the camps remain terribly overcrowded and in dire conditions. We have responded to this and sent a grant of 500 euros to Samos Volunteers for them to be able to purchase needed items from their needs list. In addition this month, we have also funded food for refugees on Rhodes, and purchased a months supply of food and needed items for the Orange House residents and day visitors in Athens. We are also sending over 3000 dental kits to Chios and Samos. So as always, there’s lots going on.
Here are some recent photos from the Moria camp in Lesbos. Its hard to believe that this is happening now in Europe.
